Rocket's Ramblings
March 08, 2010 - Kalamazoo, Michigan
As I look outside, I realize that the days are getting longer, and the weather will be warmer, and the race season here in Michigan will soon be upon us. The local teams have been working on their cars for months in preparation for the new season. Anticipation and excitement is in the air as we wait for the season of speed to arrive in Michigan. Owners of the local tracks have been preparing for months to begin the new season, and soon their vacations will be over.
Fans will be planning their vacations around the NASCAR races going on nearly every weekend throughout the United States. Michigan International Speedway is still under the cover of snow, but in June and August this old track, and many fans, will be ready to go.
As you prepare for the new race season, think about the blessings we have been given. In no other country in the world can their citizens enjoy all that this country has to offer its' citizens, like our beautiful country; the United States of America, has to offer.
No matter what you do this year, enjoy it to the maximum. Be happy; enjoy your family; enjoy your time off, and enjoy your race season. Be safe always.
May God Bless You and Keep You Happy, Healthy, Wealthy and Wise.
Keep it between the ditches and I hope to see you were the stars come out.
